Designing around family life can be a challenge, but it's definitely do-able! Follow along as I create a beautiful but kid-friendly blush and navy living room for this Toronto family.
The Client
This family of three includes a young child and two very busy parents. They're looking to increase storage space in their living room, and pull it together for a more cohesive look with new art and furnishings. But it all still has to accommodate day-to-day life with a child.
Project Challenges & Goals
Decorating your home with kids' needs in mind can be tricky. It's not always easy to strike a balance between beautiful design and a practical, child-friendly family living space.
The Design Proposal
My goal for this room is to find that balance for this family.
Using smart storage solutions, easy-to-clean textiles, and an sophisticated blush and navy colour scheme, I hope to create a space that both adults and kids can feel comfortable and at home in.
